Our final project for Sensors, Probes and Detectors was to make a plant interface and develop it into a musical instrument. We started out by connecting different plants to a standard Arduino circuit and measuring the resistance offered by them. We conducted several different experiments with the plants, such as pouring water on them, leaving them out in the sun, touching the leaves etc. We were amazed by the fluctuations in the amount of resistance in response to different stimuli.

Materials used: 1. Arduino Uno

2. Jumper wires

3. Breadboard

4. AD620AN instrumentation amplifier
