&lt;div&gt;It uses a CD Drive as a stage! :D The mechanism that is basically used to push the CD in and out of the computer is utilized here to move the stage with the slide around, so focusing is not a problem. Who'd have thought, right?!&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

&lt;div&gt;Hi, I am Nirja. I am currently working as an Intern in CUBE Mumbai. Participating in the DIY Workshop here has so far been a lot of fun, and I am hoping I get to have more fun for the next two days as well. We've so far made microscopes, and I am really proud of the one I made. Although, it's not the prettiest of the lot :P&lt;br /&gt;

This three day workshop by (Art)ScienceBLR is open to Artists, Teachers, students, scientists. The workshop will cover Do it  yourself techniques in building laboratory equipment. We will repurpose trash, consumer electronics to build scientific equipment and retake the scientific instrument from the establishment and institutions and turn it into a tool for personal enquiry and personal expression. We will discuss the aesthetics of the scientific instrument and other issues in Citizen Science......&lt;br /&gt;
